The mountain Fruska Gora, known for its tamed and natural beauty is located in the north Serbian region called Vojvodina, which is a part of Panonian Valley, the flat plateau shared between Serbia, Croatia and Hungary.
The Fruska Gora Mountain is popular for its 12 medieval monasteries; hence the popular name “Srpska Sveta Gora” meaning “Serbian Sacred Mountain”. On this trip we will visit 9 of the most beautiful monasteries; Ravanica, Krusedol, Novo Hopovo, Grgetek, and Velika Remeta, just to name a few.
Since the 19 th Century, the mountain has also been known as an air Spa. Not to mention the huge number of trails for bikers and hikers alike.
You will have a chance to visit Fruska Gora's famous vineyards, which offer wine tasting, and festivals that are scheduled throughout the whole season.
