Day One: |

Arrive at Belgrade airport, and meet your guide who will assist you in collecting your luggage and currency exchange. We will then head to the town of Vrdnik in Fruska Gora Mountain , via automobile. It's around 90km/56mi and it should take about an hour and a half. In accordance with the previously made arrangements, accommodations are possible at the hotel Vrdnik (recommended), at a private home or in a camp (using top of the line models of tents and camping equipment). Once at Vrdnik, we will take a short coffee break (or beverage of your choice), and gather to make arrangements for the rest of the day. We will also choose a restaurant for regular or occasional meals.

Depending on arrival time at Vrdnik, we may take a short sightseeing walk for geographical-topographical orientation. If time allows, we can visit the well-known monastery Fruskogorska Ravanica (officially – Vrdnik), situated in the very town of Vrdnik , and the Zmajevac Overview, 4km/2.5mi away. If arrival to Vrdnik should be at a late hour, all of these activities could be scheduled into the following day. Finally, return to the hotel (private home or camp) and have dinner. Dinner could be arranged in three ways: a restaurant with national cuisine and national music; at the host's home; or a barbecue around the campfire (for campsite combination only). After the meal, we will review the plans for the following day. |

Day Two: |
|
After breakfast, finalizing the plan of activities for every day. For this day, we plan on visiting the monasteries Novo Hopovo, Krusedol, Grgetek and Velika Remeta with full historical explanation provided. All three are located east of Vrdnik. The whole trip is 40km/25mi, and can be done via driving or biking. Frequent stops at interesting overview points and lunch, which can be arranged at restaurants along the road (there are many), prepared lunch bags, or outside barbecue. After lunch, we will continue visiting monasteries, and come back to Vrdnik in the evening hours. Dinner as previously arranged, and short briefing of the next day's events.
